In this shawl, I once again worked with the warp as if it were a canvas. I chose four colours — turquoise, violet, burgundy-purple, and fuchsia. I did not have a specific outcome in mind. I simply wanted to explore how these colours would work together and see where they would lead. As the piece developed, it began to remind me of light passing through stained glass. The vibrant colours appear against calm beiges and greys like coloured reflections falling onto a light surface.
