The second colour variation in the “Cherry Pie” series. This time, shades of blue join the reds, purples, and pinks, bringing out parts of the structure and giving the fabric a cooler overall character. I enjoy seeing how a small shift in colour can completely change the way the same weave is perceived. In this version, I cannot help but notice a hint of blueberries appearing alongside the cherries in this woven pie. The scarf has two distinctly different faces. One side is dominated by rounded motifs in shades of red and purple that bring to mind halved ripe fruit. The reverse reveals a more flowing pattern, resembling fruit jam spread between layers of pastry. Although both sides are woven from the same threads, each tells the story in its own way.
