This series of cushion covers grew from a pattern created by Franz Donat in 1907. Its simple, organic character immediately caught my attention. I wanted to explore it through different colour variations while designing the covers in a way that allowed the pattern to remain an integral part of the whole rather than dominate it. Each cushion cover features a zipper sewn into one of the side seams. All cushion covers in the series were woven on the same warp, yet each develops the idea in a slightly different direction. Pillow insert is not included.
